Untitled
10 1/2 x 7 1/2" Black & Sepia Ink
I have started to add color to my Pen & Ink Drawings. I really like the emotional effects as the color moves through the black forms. I have not come up with a title for this piece yet. If you have any ideas, I would appreciate your comments. What kind of feelings do you get from the piece?
My husband & I are leaving for a much anticipated week vacation to Northern California tomorrow morning. The area is a little remote (only has one cell phone provider in that area), so I am not sure if I will have any internet access. If I can find access, I will try to post some photos (I am planning on taking many for research material on a new series I want to paint).
All the best to you.

it's script.
it's calligraphy.
it's so intricate that i - seriously - find it hard believing a human hand & mind created it!
it's like a good dream...
swimming, and this beautiful
seaweed - once kinda scary -
sways in unison, and i'm compelled to swim closer, close enough to feel it against my skin.
i wake
so happy
that i did that!
feeling
assured, comforted,
but also lit from within!
i think i commented on this when it was a B&W... so, to see it evolve is wonderful, Cyndy!
peace~
Really fabulous, Cyndy! I love the twisting interplay of the shapes and the build-up of form. I ADORE line.
I thought 'tangled love'
but I like Chuck's swimming, swaying take on things.
Hi Cyndy,
I like your work. You do some of everything and do it well. I had to go all the way back to the beginning of your posts, because I wanted to see everything. Loved September Falls the best, and many others too.
Beautiful work, Cyndy! I, too, went all through to the beginning. You have wonderful vision!
This wonderful drawing brings up emotions of a journey in which one starts from the center and travels a windy path, as life often does, only to find oneself back at the starting place with the knowledge that what we are seeking was here all along.
